EAM-SFW series flowmeter probe
Flow can be represented by the velocity of volumetric flow, the mass rate of flow, or the total volume or mass flow. The measurement of flow is mainly achieved by integrating two devices: one main device is in direct contact with the fluid and can generate a signal, while the other device can convert this generated signal into a motion or a slave signal for displaying, recording, controlling, or calculating flow. Other devices directly display or calculate flow rate through the interaction between the flowing fluid and the measuring device. This measuring device is in direct or indirect contact with the liquid flow.
The SFW rotary flow sensor consists of a freely rotating impeller, each blade of which is equipped with a permanent magnet. When the impeller approaches the sensor, a pulse is generated. When the liquid flows into the pipeline, the impeller rotates to produce a square wave output signal, and the output frequency is proportional to the flow rate. Thus, it can be converted into a standard signal output. The characteristics are as follows:
² Reasonable cost and accurate flow measurement; No pressure drop, which makes it particularly suitable for measuring gravity flow;
² The unstable flow rate, solid content, and easy formation of bubbles have little effect on the measurement results;
² Electromagnetic flow sensors do not have mechanical dismantling parts and are suitable for measuring conductive media and fluids with impurities;
² Pulse output type, transistor NPN open circuit, can be safely connected to digital input interfaces of various control instruments;
² Specially designed installation accessories ensure easy and quick installation of sensors, compatible with pipes ranging in size from DN15 to DN600;
Suitable for measuring drinking water, fish farming, cooling water treatment, swimming pool water, and fabric finishing water;
